TEAM
It's an honor to contribute three full show visuals for ODESZA’s The Last Goodbye tour. New for this run, we integrated motion capture and photogrammetry into our 3D workflow to further push the otherworldly atmospheres for the Seattle-based electronic duo.
Additionally, I helped composite and edit content for the upstage wall + risers throughout the show.

LOYAL
I was tasked with designing and animating the cataclysmic Loyal sequence. The plan was to build tension, a call to arms, as droves of soldiers drum up energy before revealing a shrouded, almost mythological colossus.
Key challenges were fine-tuning motion capture data (acted by ODESZA Drumline member Kali Ridal), making the characters physically interact with the environment (drums, swords, rocks), simulating cloth + wind for the cape, lightning FX, and finally using lighting + cinematography to portray the brooding presence of The King (thanks to Steve Teeple for the fantastic character design).
HOPEFUL
Photogrammetry (with the help of Jasper Newton) and real-time rendering are utilized to sample nearby Seattle locations into an impressionistic dream.
ALL MY LIFE
A slow reverie depicting alternate versions of the self (this version of you) watching your journey – Motion capture drives the walk cycle as well as the various poses of Alexy Préfontaine's Traveler character. The next step was to simulate the cloth and portray the correct mood through lighting.
